April 3 — Popsicles with Police A free, family-friendly community event from 2–3 PM at Geyer Commons, 605 E. Broad St. A great way to meet your neighbors and connect with the community.
April 3 — Free Full Moon Sound Bath An only-in-Mansfield kind of evening. Head to Geyer Commons at 8:30 PM for a free outdoor sound bath under the full moon. Bring a blanket.

Costco — One of the most anticipated retail arrivals in recent memory. The membership warehouse giant is headed to the Lone Star Road and FM 917 corridor, and it is expected to anchor a wave of additional retail and dining development in that area.
Portillo's — The beloved Chicago-born chain famous for Italian beef sandwiches, hot dogs, and chocolate cake shakes is opening its first Mansfield location at The Shops at Broad.
BoomerJack's — A high-energy sports bar concept with large-format screens and a full food and drink menu is joining the FM 917 corridor development. Expect this to become a go-to evening spot.
Bojangles — Mansfield's first location of the Cajun-seasoned chicken and biscuit chain has been approved at the corner of E. Debbie Lane and US 287.
The Reserve — The big one. A 200-acre mixed-use development that will eventually include restaurants, retail, entertainment, and a brand new City Hall. Construction on the city hall portion is expected to wrap by December 2026.
